AMA (Ask me Anything) on Trademarks for the Headstart Network
Mr. Krishna Grandhi conducted a live session on Episode 16 of HeadstartLive – A Webinar Series by Headstart, on April 14, 2020. The live session was an interactive session with more than 100 startups around India on the topic: “AMA on Trademarks.” Headstart is India’s largest grassroots level organization that supports entrepreneurship and startups and is one of India’s oldest and largest startup ecosystem development organizations.
Mr. Krishna Grandhi believes in startups and their potential to disrupt the market. The August Fest, which is Asia’s largest startup festival, invited him in September 2016 to speak about IP Strategies for Technology Startups with an emphasis on how to manage and leverage IP for startup success. This event was held between the 3rd and 4th of September.
Mr. Krishna Grandhi conducted a live session along with Murali Talasila, partner at PWC and Rakesh Bhatia, Managing Partner at Beyond Strategy on Startup Connect organised by T-Hub, on May 4, 2017. The session covered topics on Strategic Acquisition of Startups.
9th Global Intellectual Property Convention (GIPC)
Mr. Krishna Grandhi was invited as a speaker at the 9th Global Intellectual Property Convention (GIPC) held at New Delhi, India. At this convention, Mr. Grandhi participated in a panel discussion on various issues relating to the protection and enforcement of IP in India. The convention was held on January 11-12, 2017.

iB Hubs Launch Event
Mr. Krishna Grandhi was invited as a special guest to the iB Hubs launch event. iB Hubs is a pan-India startup hub, which is “committed towards developing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in every nook and corner of India”. This event was held on November 13, 2016 and had NITI Aayog’s CEO, Shri Amitabh Kant, as its Chief Guest.
Lecture on “Orientation Program to young advocates of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States” at ICFAI Law School
Mr. Krishna Grandhi delivered a lecture at ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad on May 8, 2017, on the issues surrounding the practice of law, with a special focus on young lawyers. The lecture was aimed at helping young lawyers understand the nuances of practicing law and running their own practice, including a focus on the practical aspects of dealing with clients and mastering court procedure.
Guest Lecture on “Introduction to IPR with a focus on business” at Symbiosis Law School
Mr. Krishna Grandhi delivered a lecture at Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad on March 18, 2017, on the introductory aspects of Intellectual Property Law. The lecture focused on the practical applications of IPR laws within the context of the business environment prevalent in the country at the time.
International Workshop on “Intellectual property, Commercial and Emerging Laws” By Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB)
Mr. Krishna Grandhi was a speaker and presenter at the two-day International Workshop on “Intellectual property, Commercial and Emerging Laws” which was held in Vijayawada on the 24th and 25th of February, 2017. This workshop was hosted jointly by the APEDB and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
Madras Chamber of Commerce and WITT Seminar on “National IPR Policy – Opportunities & Challenges for Industry”
Mr. Krishna Grandhi was invited as a speaker at the Madras Chamber of Commerce – Waterfalls Institute of Technology Transfer, Chennai seminar on “National IPR Policy – Opportunities & Challenges for Industry”. Mr. Grandhi presented on the topic of “Recent Developments in US Intellectual Property Law”, where he discussed the salient differences between US / Global policies & practices and the Indian IP framework, and an examination of the IPR opportunities & challenges with reference to the IT & Software industry in India. This seminar was held on February 16, 2017.
Workshop on “IP Strategy and Considerations for Technology Startups” at Co.Lab.Orate coworking
Mr. Krishna Grandhi conducted a workshop on the IP strategy that Tech startups must undertake during their evolution from the startup stage all the way to the “emerging” stage and beyond. A number of local startups and entrepreneurs attended this live event. This workshop was conducted at the Co.Lab.Orate Co-Working Spaces’ Jubilee Hills office on April 16, 2016.
